Web-based meetings will allow every member to learn about current events and to participate in the decision-making process. Weekly updates of relevant developments in healthcare, which affect your practice, will be provided via email, web-based meetings and seminars.
Continuing Medical Education
Regular CME programming will be available via Internet, videoconference and teleconference. CME will be accredited to allow you to meet the licensure requirements of the Board of Medical Examiners.

President, Ronald A. White, M.D., J.D. is the Chief of Surgery at Bergen Regional Medical Center. He is also Chairman of the Operative and Invasive Procedure Council and a member of the Medical Executive Committee. He is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine and Rutgers School of Law.
John M. Tedeschi, M.D. is a renowned leader in pediatric medicine. He was the first recipient of the VIRTUA West Jersey Health System “Distinguished Career Award” and “SuperStar Physician of Excellence.” He is the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Children’s Health Associates, LLC, one of the largest heathcare providers in the Northeast. He is a past President of the Medical Staff of VIRTUA Health System and serves on the Governor’s Task Force for Medical Malpractice, the Medical Liability Task Force of the Medical Society of New Jersey, the New Jersey Hospital Association Council on Hospital Governance, the American Academy of Pediatrics, NJ Chapter Practice Management Committee, Executive Council and Government Affairs Committee, JeffCare Board of Directors and the VIRTUA Health System Board of Trustees.
Mario A. Criscito, M.D. has been a leader of the medical community
throughout his career. A Board Certified Cardiologist, he currently sits on the congressional Medicare Advisory Panel, is a member of both the Board of Trustees for the St. Barnabas Health Care system and of Clara Maass Health Center, and is Chairman of the St. Barnabas Physician Partnership. He is also the Medical Advisor to Essex County. Dr. Criscito currently serves as President of the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners.
Antonio Ciccone, D.O., M.B.A. is a well regarded leader of the Osteopathic physician community. He is Board Certified in Family Practice and Emergency Medicine and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at UMDNJ. Dr. Ciccone serves on the Alumni Board of Trustees of UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine where he was the 1990 Outstanding Graduate. He also serves on the UMDNJ SOM’s Steering Committee. Dr. Ciccone also holds a Master of Business Administration from N.Y.U.’s Stern School of Business. He is the Police and Fire Surgeon for the City of Newark and Medical Director of the St. Barnabas Medical Center, Jersey Care Home Health Care Agency, and Silver Lake Medical.
Sudhir Parikh, M.D. is a practicing allergist who has received international acclaim in the treatment of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. He is listed in Who’s Who in America in the Field of Medicine. He is a former member of the NJ State Board of Medical Examiners and immediate Past President of the Indian American Forum for Political Education. He is a patron trustee and member of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin Charitable Foundation and former national trustee of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin and the founding president of the Federation of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (NY, NJ, PA). He is the recipient of the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor for his lifetime of community service. This is the highest civilian honor that our county bestows upon a United States immigrant. He also has received the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman award, the highest civilian honor bestowed upon non-resident Indians by the Government of India.
Louis Fares, II M.D., is a Board Certified General Surgeon who has been active with organized medicine since his residency. Recognized as a Top Doctor by a number of organizations, he is also very involved with surgical residency training. A former president of the Mercer County Medical Society, he is presently the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
